One of the goals of this project is to support School Counselors in a variety of ways. In order to deliver the best tools to counselors we will provide a variety of trainings, tools, and topics.

NEW FOR 2019

Mental Health: Last spring we were able to conduct a Mental Health with ACES awareness program for educators and counselors. As a follow up to tha program, this year we will be hosting "Trauma Informed Care w/Resiliency and Stop the Bleed"  on October 29th in Bloomington. CTE Signing Days: Last spring we were also able to partner with a few schools througout Illinois and assist with planning CTE signing days. Please consider adding this event to your spring calendar. Career and Job trends

-IDES Learn More, Earn More

-The State of Illions offers FREE resources to help counselors plan for and implement career counseling. One of their tools is called The Career Information System. It supports students in grades 5-8, 9-12, and post secondary. If you would like training on how to access and use this program in your school or district, please don't hesitate to contact me

-Did you know that PERKINS funding allows for career tools to be expanded to students as young as 5th grade? Learn about some tools for middle school career exploration here.
