Presentation/Workshop Availability:
Summer, fall, & spring 2008 CRI presentations are being scheduled! If your school or organization would like to have a CRI presentation, workshop, round-table discussion, or in-service session, please contact the CRI Business, Marketing, & Management Facilitator, Diane Mahinda, at dmahinda@ioes.org to arrange a time.
In the 2006-2007 fiscal year, Mrs. Mahinda had the opportunity to meet over 500 CTE teachers from around the State of Illinois with the intent to introduce them to the projected assets of the Curriculum Revitalization Initiative. There are more than 1500 business teachers alone in the State of Illinois; therefore, training needs are still essential for those teachers who have not had an opportunity to get that training. In addition, updates to the curriculum, additional opportunities, and improvements are happening all the time. Ask your administrators to schedule workshops updating you on the CRI!

Student Organizations:
Does your school have a student business organization? Business, Marketing, & Management Education has three choices—FBLA, DECA, or BPA! Some schools have all three! These organizations are so very important for students on so many levels of connection, leadership, career directions, and more! If your school does not have a business student organization, start one soon and see how your program grows!
