The 37th Annual Principals Professional Conference and Exhibition October 5-7, 2008 Peoria, IL
The 37th annual conference will be held in Peoria, Illinois and will provide many opportunities for you to advance professionally. The theme for this year’s conference is Building Blocks of Educational Leadership and includes a number of small group sessions and nationally known keynote speakers who will address the characteristics of successful educational leaders. As one of the premier conferences in the country, our Conference Planning Committee has worked very hard to plan for a variety of small group sessions, identifying excellent keynote speakers, providing an extensive list of exhibitors and included a number of social opportunities for you to participate in as you complete your professional experience while at the conference.
You will have time to attend the sessions, network with your colleagues, attend the Past Presidents’ Reception, participate in the IPA Golf tournament, attend region hospitality suites and share your experiences as you interact with educational professionals from throughout the state. I look forward to you joining us as we identify the qualities of successful educational leaders and improve our effectiveness in our individual districts and buildings. I encourage you to join us as we identify and examine the Building Blocks of Educational Leadership. |

ITEC 2008 Illinois Technology Education Conference Peoria, IL Holiday Inn City Center October 24-25th, 2008
The Technology Education Association of Illinois is dedicated to the promotion and professional development for teachers in the Technology Education field. Over the years the profession has changed names, however the mission remains the same: to prepare children for their future! Whether you teach in a department that calls itself "Industrial Arts", "Industrial Technology", "Shop", "Manual Arts", or "Technology Education", you are still giving and helping kids learn technological literacy. From Band saws and rocketry to computer aided design and architecture or electronics, we teach kids to use, manage and assess the machines, tools and resources all around us in the ever evolving world of technology.
Over 110 teachers, professors, presenters, vendors, and students attended last year's very successful conference. Mark your calendars for this year's ITEC. |
